I purchased this for an upcoming round-the-world trip. However, I've been using it in place of my tried&true dana bombpack. For regular, short (3-4 day) trips I just use the pack and leave the duffle and daypack at home. I never realized how great a panel loading pack could be. I am so much more organized. This pack appears to weigh twice as much as the bomb pack; however, the duffle bag is half the weight. I usually leave it behind. I think I will take it with me on my big trip though. The suspension is identical to my 2-3 year old bomb pack. I love this pack!! Customer Service:
This is my fourth Dana pack. I once had a shoulder strap come apart. They had a new one on my doorstep in three days. Similar Products Used:
