Backpacker
, from accrington, england Summary: high ankle cuff gives good support on rocky terrain, like the English Lake District. Vibram sole offers superb grip on wet & dry rock. Have used these for 1 year, hiking and full backpacking, without a problem. As another reviewer commented, they are a little narrow for some feet, but otherwise, brilliant.! Day Hiker
, from Pittsburgh, PA Summary: A fine boot that I got on close-out for $79.00 (with Gortex). Narrow but, it isn't a problem. The external frame support helps create a nice environment for the feet. They are light. Not incidently, a boot I like to wear at work. Terrific comfort delivered by the external frame. Great for standing, great for day hiking. of I ordered a second pair, the lows this time without Gortex, again at close out, this time for $49.00. Similar Products Used: None
