at US Postal Service Un Summary: I purchased two pairs of Rocky boots before I retired from the Postal Service. The soles on both pairs have deteriorated. They can't be resoled. They are worthless. I won't buy another pair. Customer Service: Only have a one year guarantee. Similar Products Used: I have other boots that I have had over 20 years.

at On-line Summary: I really like the Rocky Boots; however they do not stand behind their products and they do not hold up. I have had now over 7 or so pair of Rocky procuct footware and I can not say that any of them were note worthy of holding up or withstanding the normal wear and tear that should be expected. I only wear my Rocky's in the fall hunting season and an occasional winter stroll from time to time; the soles were breaking apart on the last pair and the previous pairs the soles quickly worn apart. On the first pair, they seeped outside moisture. I am now giving up on them. Yes, they are comfortable but they do not hold up. If you want a pair of boots to hold up for a while, Rocky is not the ones. If you want to spend a $130 for a pair of comfortable boots every year or two, well keep looking at the Rocky's.
I just sent the last pair back with cracked soles and they did not even have the decentcy of opening the package, they refused the package all together.
I have also had various other Rocky boot styles and had similar experiences with them. The soles are really a weak part of the boot. Similar Products Used: I had also had the Rocky Wildcats, 800 gr. and 400 gr all with similar type of problems

at Ray's Sport Shop Summary: Rocky's "Air Bob" soles disintegrated with very little use. I doubt if they have 15 total miles on them Customer Service: Very poor. Only have a one year warranty. But they'll let me pay to have them re-soled! Whoo Hooo! Similar Products Used: Had a pair of Timberlands that were indestructable.
