at I just told you that Summary: This shoe is not only lame-hiker-esque looking, but since I stole them from another hiker whom I beat up on the trail they were already broken in- I highly suggest this approach to other hikers such as myself out there! Similar Products Used: I've stolen numbers of shoes from hikers on the trail. What you have to do is lie in wait in a tree and then jump down when you see them and hit them in the head with a tree branch. (this usually do

, from Philadelphia, PA USA Summary: GREAT BOOTS. I've had these boots for a year and a half and have hiked over 700 miles in them. Comfy right out of the box. Nubuck has pretty much disappeared but the leather is great. The soles are barely worn and provide pretty decent traction in wet conditions. My only problem is that the traction wasn't so hot on ice. I'd definitely recommend them for beginner to mid-level hikers and backpackers.

, from Grand Rapids, MI USA Summary: No more break in. Comfortable boots right out the box. Very light for a boot that's termed a mid- to heavy duty boot. Their break-in was in the Laurentian rocks of Ontario. This summer the stood up marvelously to a lot of abuse on the Teton Crest Trail and to the summit of the middle Teton. Even more enjoyable after a coat of sno-seal was applied along all seams. At less than $150, a good value I think. But they've yet to see their 3rd season... Climber
, from Clayton, MO, USA Summary: This is basically a softer, more pliable version of the 520. This means: easier break in (virtually none) and shorter lifespan. Considering that Asolo's arent the most long lived boots on the market to begin with, I wouldn't expect these to last more than a couple of seasons. The suede style leather makes waterproofing and protection difficult. I does make for a slightly more stylish boot for those who just want to wear them around town. It also makes for a boot that is comfortable right out of the box. Customer Service: Similar Products Used: None
