Price Paid:
$190.00
at Danner mail order Summary: This is my second pair of light II's. My first pair lasted about Two years of continual use; I wear them at work also. I would have had them re-soled but, my feet have grown. I've been on several group, long weekend, heavy pack hikes. I am always the only one without blisters. I have never had a blister in Danners. I have low volume, flat feet. Danner also offers this boot in a narrow B size. Great boot. Very little break in time. The stitch down construction allows the boot to conform better to your foot. You will. not feel the hard rubber sole or toe cap like on cemented boots. I believe the stitch down bott is the way ot go for a long term or just a day hiker. Customer Service: I had to order Two pairs to find a pair that matched perfectly on the sole width; not to be confused with the foot part. I have had no problems with shipping or returns form Danner. Similar Products Used: I have a pair of Technica Vetta Bs and a pair of the new LaSportiva TRKs

Backpacker
, from milton wv USA Summary: The first pair of backpacking boots that I bought was a pair of Danner Gortex. These boots lasted for almost 14 years and felt as good on my feet the day they finally fell apart as the day I first put them on. ( excellent boots) Customer Service: I now have a contact allergy to latex or natural rubber and have a hard time finding a boot that does not affect the skin on my feet. Similar Products Used: None
