at Sams Club Summary: This canoe is very stable and durable. I fish from it with a 30bls thrust trolling motor and I can even stand up if I need to stretch my legs. I would rate this a 5 if it wasn't for the weight of this canoe. It weighs 90lbs empty and is difficult to carry long distances. I give it a solid 4.

at M&J sports Summary: I have used the boat as a tender for my 32'sailboat alot. I mostly row it with 2 oars from the center seat. Used this way the boat is very stable, even in a chop. And it's fast. Paddled like a canoe it's slow and doesn't track straight. But for a poor mans rowing scull---it's great! Customer Service: got aq free set of oars Similar Products Used: lots of various canoes, dingys, rowboats etc.

, from Ellsworth, Maine 04605 Summary: Had a great time in this boat. It was perfect for a slow Missouri river with low water on a hot afternoon. Beamy and stable. My favorite features include the center seat/cooler and the beverage can holders (for my water cans). There is lots of room in the boat. With a third passenger in the center seat, the canoe still performed well. I wasn't looking for a rocket, I was looking for a family workhorse. Found it with this boat. Customer Service: They have a very detailed website. Lots of information. Similar Products Used: Lots of other canoes since I have paddles for over 28 years. Like the Old Town Penobscot for downriver when there is class 1/2 whitewater even though it can easily handle class 3. Love the Penobscot on lakes, too. Doesn't matter if its the 16 or 17 footer, had both and love them equally.
