DESCRIPTION

This inflatable, single-person kayak comes complete with paddle, foot pump and carrying duffel. The durable PVC kayak is just right for floating calm rivers or paddling on lakes, plus it's light enough to carry off the beaten track. Constructed with two chambers; the first chambers make up the body of the kayak, while the second chamber is the inflatable floor cushion. The lightweight, four-piece paddle features a durable aluminum shaft and plastic blades that can be adjusted from straight to feathered positions. Paddle breaks down for easy storage and portability and floats for easy retrieval. Bellows-style foot pump inflates the kayak with 500cc of air on each stroke. Molded rubber handles with neoprene knuckle-guards make carrying easy. The top and bottom material are a heavy-duty nylon PVC tarpaulin. Comes in a durable duffel bag for easy transport and storage. Special buy.

Good kayak!
I've been fishing out of it off and on for 8 years and its still going. Light weight and strong easy to pack and hike with. It fits fully inflated in my jeep 2012 Cherokee. I'm 5'11 205 lbs

I like that it packs up nicely in the tote bag. My friend and I both bought one, but my kids use it more than we do. They take it down some mild white water. It has a durable canvas cover, and I've had it for years. The paddle is doable, and fits in the bag, but I use a longer paddle. The pump is ok. The boat rides well, but my feet are cramped in the nose of the boat. I weigh 200 lbs and am 5'9" and it's snug. I'm looking to buy more, as I can't seem to get it away from my kids.

My daughter and I took two of these on the Snake River in Idaho, and had a blast! It was very easy for us to carry and they stood up strong against underwater tree snags and rocky riffles. Love them!!!

I love this baby. It is quick and easy to get ready for the water-the whole process takes less than 5 minutes. I was also able to get everything back in the duffel after deflating-which is unusual for me. It is also very comfortable. I was in the kayak for several hours a few days in a row and had no discomfort. By slightly adjusting the inflation one can make this a perfect fit. I have canoed quite a bit, but have never kayaked. I found this to be much easier to move and steer. I was afraid that the wind would blow it around, but the built in rudder seems to help as it keeps a pretty straight course in the wind. I have taken it out just offshore in the ocean, on several springs with varying currents and on several faster moving rivers, some with light rapids, and have had no problems at all. It is also durable as I was stuck several times on submerged trees and rocks and had no problems. The best part about an inflatable is that I was able to go down rivers that I could not in a fixed canoe or kayak. When there was a trail next to a fast moving river, I could go down the river, pull over, deflate and walk back with the kayak rolled up under my arm-what a great feeling. The Stearns IK95 is comfort, convenience and quality at a great price. I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys paddling on the water.
