Great board!!! I have used the board 12 times and it is awesome. It performs well at everything. Really good at carving in deep powder. It has made me a better rider.

Strength:

Great all around board Smooth and well designed - gives your legs a few extra miles Will take you to the next level quickert

Weakness:

Might want to get some tip guards.

At 6', 185lbs, with size 11 boots; I went for the 165 to use it as my carving/powder board. However, I found it to be pretty great all around and converted my old faithful all around board to my socal thin coverage backcountry shredder. I would go a little smaller if you want to use more in the park. However, if you like it steep, deep and fast this is the board for you. Cuts up corduroy like a ginsu. Pretty quick edge to edge at this size as I could even tear up the moguls with this puppy.,

Strength:

It is a lot stiffer than most boards, yet it is very easy to turn once you get used to it. Short radius turns are a blast - set the edge and enjoy the ride. I don't ride very fast, (like a lot of the idiots you see bombing green and blue runs), but it is a lot more stable than my old board when I am going faster. I also used to catch edges on my old board all of the time - it hasn't happened once with the FSR900. I don't know if it is the board or my technique improving, but I suspect it is a combination of both. I think boards with too much flex lead to sloppy habits. I feel totally confident on this board.

Weakness:

It takes a few days to get used to it if you are upgrading from a less flexible board, but that would be the case with any high-end board.

I think this is one of those boards that makes you a better rider. This is only my second season of snowboarding, but things have really come together for me after upgrading from my old 'noodle' board to this one. If you can get this board at overstock.com for 240.00 like I did, you are getting the deal of a lifetime. It is a great deck.

Strength:

Handles anything you throw at it: crud, ice, kickers, powder. Excellent edge control, fast as hell. The only thing holding you back on this board are your cojones. Plus I got it for way cheap; shoulda bought a second one.

Weakness:

Not in love with the graphics; probably not the best board if you're starting out. I don't park/pipe so can't comment on that.

An awesome board. Really helped me go to the next level this season. Got this board and a pair of Sims Link bindings on the advice of a Sims pro and it is a kick-ass setup. It's gotta be the board when your first time out you're better than last season.

I just got this wicked mountain rocket for Christmas - wow, I used to have a K2 zepplin and thought that board was awesome. The FSR900 is an unbelievable performer in edge control, air, stability, carving ability, and speed. Enjoy this board!!!!!!!!!!!

Strength:

The ultra light weight and super hella fast base make this board the king of the backcountry and rocking the trees.

Weakness:

None known

I rode this machine last year before it became a full production. My bro the rep hooked me up and I love this beast. It shreds the back country kickers like the Fat Boys on Pizza.
