$0.00 Summary: The Alltimax is a complicated beast, but once mastered is impressive. The altitude summing feature, however, is not very accurate. Cycling up a known hill gave me the following ascent numbers: 840 ft, 760 ft, and 860 ft. A topo map shows 747 feet. I think the Altimax is summing the "jitter" in its elevation readings and treating them as real elevation gains. A potential buyer needs to ast if 20% accuracy of this feature is close enough for them. Customer Service: SuuntoUSA seemed unwilling to address my concerns.
