$0.00 Summary: I bought what was one of the early model Quazars 15 years ago and it has been in regular use since. I rate it bombproof, I have had it out in strong winds, and buried in snow. It is a bit heavy, but other than that it is perfect.

at field+trek brentwood Summary: I have a wild country quasar - purchased 18yrs ago and still going strong. It's a brilliant tent - I've carried it all around the world (yes it is a bit heavy), and have camped in hurricane force winds on many occasions-- the tent leans a bit in the wind but remains standing. Poles have broken twice -- once due to carelessness , and due to corrosion. Customer Service: was purchased with a lifetime guarentee - failed to live up to this

at ebay Summary: Terrific product. I am 6'5", and have plenty of room for myself, & gear. The double-door/vestibules are great for functionality. It can take any weather, for sure. Only qualms are the pole-sleeve construction, as opposed to clips. And also the weight...a bit over 9 pounds, you never forget where its at.
This is my first tent, and hopefully my last. Its all about strength, but not for the ultra-lite species.

at ELLIS BRIGHAM, LONDO Summary: I am returning to the joys of backpacking and expeditioning and researched the tent market before purchasing a Quasar in January 2004. I have tested it out four times in the English Lake District, largely in driving wind, wet and temperatures around 0 to +5C.
The tent held up well against wind and there was minimum condensation on the inner tent walls. I was, however, surprised by how much condensation collected on the inner tent floor and the atmosphere inside the tent was damp. Also, in high winds, the inner tent sides tended to 'billow'in, restricting the available space. But these are minor quibbles. The tent is robust, windproof and waterproof. Customer Service: I called them up to discuss the condensation issue and received good and courteous advice.

at Betws-y-Coed - Wales Summary: This tent is nothing short of life saving!
I got caught in a gale which was gusting straight from the sea into the Welsh mountains at over 100 mph. The tent though rock solid was being flattened with each gust. After about 5 hours of being convinced the tent was going to be ripped out of the ground and sent off the ridge we had camped on, the gale abated. After inspection the next morning I was shocked! The fly-sheet had been literally shredded by the porch and two poles had split slightly at the base. Other than that the tent was still standing. More a marvel of engineering than a tent! I'm convinced that had we been in any other tent, I would not be here to write this review!!
Expensive but you get what you pay for. Customer Service: Efficient and friendly. Repaired my shredded fly-sheet for next to nothing and did a few little wear and tear repairs for free!
