Summary:
Did you ever get the resistance issue fixed Kyle? I bought an 100r used that performed well for a week or two and then started doing this too. Now it's a regular occurrence and quite annoying. I fear that it's the computer brain unit because the rest of the circuit is fairly straightforward. There isn't a whole lot there.

Summary:
Great bike except for one thing; the resistance intermittently goes out and yo
you have to press one or more buttons and the resistance will kick in again. this has caused us great concern is whether or not to keep the bike. I have not been able to find a review that mentions this problem so I assume this problem is rare. Also, the troubleshooting guide does not mention this problem.

We use this bike commercially in a physical therapy clinic and find it works perfectly for those who do not have very good knee flexion and need to swing their leg rather than bend to get onto the bike. Because the seat has such a large range of adjustments, it works for all of our patients from the small children to the obese. Other than the resistance issue, which we have had multiple repairmen fail to fix, the bike is the best we've ever used.

I would suggest this bike to a home or commercial user but do realize that I have found a problem with it that not even diamondback professionals have been able to fix. This problem occured shortly after the warranty expired...
