Reviewed by: Anonymous User ,  50+ days a year , from Berkeley, CA

Summary:
A very nice line for bigger streams. The taper is well suited to throwing longer casts. It has a little bit more memory than my favorite XPS lines but not enough to cause any problems (unlike Orvis Wonderline). But compared to the XPS, the Longcast taper seems much better suited for throwing split shot and indicators. It also has a fairly long head so it mends well, which also adds to its utility as a big water nymphing line. I have only had it for a few weeks so it too early to comment on durability.

Strengths:
Like its name indicates it is good for longer casts; Also is a very good line for mending

Weaknesses:
None

Customer Service:
No experience

Body of Water:
All Of It --

Summary:
The long belly allows the caster to carry lots of line in the air, long rear taper makes the transistion smoothly. Nice stiffness and great coating allows even average casters to get the distance. Front taper allows proper loading at short distances. Just a great line whether you are casting the distance with a dry fly or turning over your favorite bass bug. A really well enginered line.

Strengths:
Great Design.

Weaknesses:
None
