Description The supple coating reduces memory, which makes XPS the ideal line for cold waters and spring creeks. With a subtle front taper that permits more delicate presentations.
Color: Orange,Grey
Review Abstract The Scientific Angler XPS is “slick,” “supple” and “well-designed.” The “slim” profile, simple loading, easy handling and durability make owners love the performance. This line allows “tight” casting and a “delicate” presentation for smaller creeks. The performance remains “solid” during cold weather. “Great for distance as well as presentation,” the Scientific Angler XPS is the “best line out there.”

Summary: loved the castabilty of this line!....was better than the Cortland but the springyness of it was awful....in fast water conditions it might not be noticeable...its your call....
Strengths: like the castability....roll casted very well
Weaknesses: I had dt6f and it would NOT lay straight in calm water...would coil up in lots of "S"s, and was like trying to fish a with a slinky.....would drag my popping bug across the water...totally worthless for fishing top water bugs in still water conditions....would drag the bug out of the fishes "zone" after about 10 seconds..and yes I did stretch it
Customer Service: sent it back to Bass Pro for a refund...they were great....

Body of Water: moving water
Summary: This is a great line, but we forewarned that the taper is a little on the "light" side. As a result, this line does not load some rods well. It loads well on my Scott G rod, but does not load my Sage SP very well at all. Highly recommended if you have a soft or moderate action rod.
Strengths: supple, visible
Weaknesses: none really, but see summary below

Summary: The price is a little high but the product is great. I have yet to have the tip sink from dirt build-up. It shoots great and is limber when you need it to be. Great in the cold.
Strengths: I am bad about not cleaning my line, this has held up great for me. I like it because you can fish when it's freezing out and not worry about the line not casting.
Weaknesses: I've had it 2 years and and no problems.

Summary: I found this line to cast just average in a 5 weight. It seemed to attract dirt very quickly and lose some of it's distance. It's not as hard as a 444sl and doesn't roll cast as well.
Strengths: hi-vis color
Weaknesses: soils quickly

Summary: This line is great. It works especially well in cold weather and seems to load the rod well. It's also slick, but you're still able to roll cast. I fish alot and often step on or snag my fly line, the finish seems to hold up. Good line.
Strengths: slick easy to see florescent orange holds up well soft, low memory loads the rod more easily
