Description The long belly, long rear taper, stiffer core and reduced overall diameter allow more line to be carried with less wind resistance, giving you the distance and accuracy needed for bones.

Summary: This a good line for non demanding fishing conditions.
Strengths: I Like the taper concept of a long front taper that allows for a soft presentation of the fly. The color of the line also blends well in the flates.
Weaknesses: The long front taper does not shoot as well in wind. Also It was hard to make tight loops with the line. One more thing the line did not hold up well. I was practicing in the grass one day and when I finished the tip of the line cracked up about 6 inches.

Summary: I have fished the SA Mastery bonefish/tarpon tapers for 7 years. I liked the old sand colored lines (AST and pre-AST), but cannot recommend the new horizon colored lines (as an earlier reviewer writes as well). Limper, softer coating, and very prone to tangles. This feels like the old Mastery saltwater line (which was built for cold waters).
Strengths: color; slickness
Weaknesses: limp; prone to tangles
Customer Service: Not sure -- I just wrote them to complain about this line

Summary: I do not recommend the new SA mastery series bonefish taper horizon. I like the old SA bonefish taper floating though.
Strengths: Color, which is not really important..
Weaknesses: Not stiff, not enough tapered, tangles, too slick (slips through the fingers).

Summary: This is in my view the best bonefish line on the market today. With regards to pure casting capabilities it outperforms Rio by far. It might not be as durable as the Rio line, but then I would advise to buy a new SA line when it wears down. It is that good.
Strengths: The ultimate casting line for. Very stiff and shoots like a dream. Because of the belly it is perfect for shorter presentation, but can "go for glory" if longer distances is required. The AST technology is impressive. I used a WF8 on my Sage RPLXi 9 with no problems what so ever. Good neutral color and the line is easy to maintain.
Weaknesses: Pricy.
Customer Service: Not necessary

Summary: Best line around hands down. The lack of memory was incredible for such a stiff line. Built in AST coating is a plus. Expensive but worth it!
Strengths: Super stiff line. Will not tangle. It has exceptionally low memory to be so stiff. Cast easy both long and short distances.
Weaknesses: Really stiff in cold weather. If you steatch it out really good before you start fishing it still works. Just not designed for cold weather like any monocore. But I still prefer it in all weather conditions because it won't tangle.
