Price Paid:  $52.00 at Cabela''s

Body of Water:
Western Atlantic (East Coast US)

Favorite Country:
USA

Summary:
I use the Ultra 3 version of this line in 6 and 9 weights with fast action 9' rods. These lines perform quite well, with very low memory and apparent stretch. Long casts are a breeze, and the line floats high enough in the water to make pick up smooth. Paid around $52 for the head and running line combined.

Strengths:
Slick, works well under warm and cool conditions, floats high.

Weaknesses:
None to really speak of; I'd like a shooting head/running line combo in some color other than buckskin... clear would be nice.

Customer Service:
Haven''t had to use it.

Body of Water:
Manistee river --

Favorite State:
Michigan

Summary:
The new coating offers a lot of good points, but there are still a few bugs that they have to work out. I'd use end loops rather than nail knots for all attachments.

Strengths:
Shoots well, stronger than Cortland shooting line I used to use. Floated well.

Weaknesses:
Coating pulled off end of line at nail knot,on two different occasions, while fighting large Salmon. Coating also abraded and flaked off where it contacted a rough area on a reel mount while stripping line off reel. Other lines didn't abrade or lose coating.

Strengths:
Durability
Shootability, small diameter running line whistles through the guides once you fling your head...
Nice color, sand
Will not cut hand easily after hours of striping and catching fish.
Line streatches easily warm or cold weather

Weaknesses:
none found yet
