Body of Water:
Shenandoah Brooks

Summary:
Good, cheap flyline that works well for beginners(like me!), small streams and anytime you don't need to cast long distances.

Strengths:
This inexpensive WF(Weight Forward) line works well for the beginner, and anyone who doesn't care about casting more than 40 or so feet(That's at least where me, my line, and my rod begin to break down) The Concept line isn't the best to mend, but it's cheap. Works well for fishing small streams where your casts are small to non-existent in length.

Weaknesses:
It's a cheap line that doens't mind very well, and doesn't cast great for long distances. Only available in Neon Yellow, a highly visible color yes, just not one I'm particularly fond of.

Customer Service:
Don't know anything about Scientific Anglers customer service. There website stinks.

Summary:
I fish a lot of small, brushy, steep canyon streams in the Selkirks and Kootenays. Such conditions are hard on lines. I find the DT Concept excellent. It is a tough, easy to cast line. And the inevitable rock cuts and brush tangles are easier to tolerate on a budget line. Budget price. Much better than budget performance. Match a 3-5 wt. Concept DT line to a 6-6.5 ft. soft flex rod and inexpensive single action reel and you are set for difficult small stream conditions.

Strengths:
Easy casting and durability are a plus. If you cut the line you are not out $50.

Weaknesses:
Memory in chilly weather.

Use more expensive lines on open and larger waters.
