Summary:
Great line for the money- definitely recommended as a quality line. SA didn't mess up making this one. Perfect for anyone wanting to be a better bug-chucker, as this line will do it for you (and accurately, too).

Strengths:
This is a very slick line that casts well at all distances. I've thrown everything from tiny divers to 2/0 poppers up to 90+ ft with this line in the 7 wt model. I just love to cast this line, since it casts so easily.

Weaknesses:
Not great for distances, but then again bug tapers aren't designed to cast far.

Customer Service:
Haven't deaslt with them

Body of Water:

Summary:
This line wins my vote as best all around premium Bass Bug Taper, as with many of today's specialty lines it seems to compliment rods with faster tapers, experienced casters that favor fast action rods should consider moving up one line wt. over their rods line rating.
I've used this line for Black Bass and land locked Stripers with equal satisfaction, it can easily deliver casts of greater distance than one would normally ask of a B.B.T.

Strengths:
This line excels in temperate climates. It has very good shooting characteristics and the taper is well suited for longer casts with large wind resistant flies.
Line memory is lower than some of it's contemporary competitiors, yet it displays low stretch and great sensitivity. When compared side to side with other premium Bass Bug Tapers, this line seems to be more angler friendly, most other anglers that have tried my matched outfits with differing B.B.T.'s seem to gravitate to the ease of control that these lines offer.

Weaknesses:
At temps. in excess of 90 degrees, I feel that Rio's Bass Bug taper with it's stiffer core and coating retains it's shootabilty better.
The down side of that, is that Rio's stiffer charactersitics mean greater line memory, especially at temps below 65 degrees. (Lower temps. are often experienced in spring and fall fishing in the western U.S.)

Price Paid:  $56.00 at Cabela's

Body of Water:
Local Lakes, Private Ponds, and local warm streams

Favorite City:
Northport

Favorite State:
AL

Favorite Country:
US

Summary:
For the price, this should be a quality line. Absorbing surface scum should not be an issue, especially with the highly acclaimed AST coating. I was not pleased.

Strengths:
Casts well

Weaknesses:
I had trouble with the AST coating absorbing the algae from the ponds and murky waters I fish for bass. This is my second spool and both have had problems.

Customer Service:
They sent me cleaning pads and line conditioner for free (although it didn't help). They were helpful and apologetic.
