Price Paid:  $52.00 at Cabela''s

Body of Water:
Western Atlantic (East Coast US)

Summary:
This review is of the shooting head (taper) and running line, in 6 and 9 weights; I use them with fast action 9' rods. These lines perform quite well, with very low memory and apparent stretch. Long casts are a breeze, and the line floats high enough in the water to make pick up smooth. Paid around $52 for the head and running line combined.

Strengths:
Good floatability, low memory. Slickness aids in shooting.

Weaknesses:
None detected so far.

Customer Service:
Haven''t had to make use of it.

Reviewed by: Cycle Guy ,  10 days a year , from Colorado

Price Paid:  $40.00 at mail order

Body of Water:
Lakes and Streams

Favorite State:
Colorado

Summary:
I have used the 6wt forward, sunrise color, on a number of 5wt rods
on lakes with dirty water in 60 degree + weather and would say that
the Ultra 3 is probably the best all around line I have used to date!
I would rate this product as a 4.5 or better

Strengths:
Least amount of line memory of the lines I have used
Casts well for short and long distances and moderate winds
Floats high on the water
Sunrise color was highly visible, even in dirty water

Weaknesses:
Presentation not as delicate as Wulff TT
Price, multiple lines can add up quickly

Customer Service:
????? Don''t know about it, but they have an informative website

Reviewed by: Anonymous User ,  30 days a year , from Portland, OR

Body of Water:
Deschutes River

Summary:
A grand line for all water types. Floats very well, shoots well. If I were trying for a more delicate presentation with smaller flies I might get like the XPS or something with that design in mind.

Strengths:
Great multifunction line I use with a fast action rod on all types of water. Its my all purpose line from dry flies or choronomids on lakes, to river nymphing tactics. Fair to good memory resistance. As a WF line it can travel some distance if you needed it to. I use the WF as I fish some windy areas and some places where delicate presentation is not as critical.

Weaknesses:
None so far for what I use it for.

Customer Service:
Unused and I expect it to continue that way.
