I wrote a review back in December on this rod and found a original one
at a excellent price.Quality of this rod can be seen over the newer model.
Still the fr904 7'6" 4 weight is a top rod for NC mountains.Its nice to have two
of the same if one is broken. Similar Products Used:

This glx fr904 was bought to upgrade from a gl3 same model.It took several times before a rod of decent
quality was shipped to me from loomis.Since shimano has bought them out quality has gone down sharply.
If you have a older model,keep it! The glx graphite is still the same just too many shortcuts on attention to detail
