I bought a "Henry's Fork" Superfine last year to fish dries. I found out that this rod is much more than a dry fly rod. It will handle streamers or nymphs with authority. The fact that it is a Full Flex rod makes it all the more fun when you hook into a big one.

What I like best about the "full action" of my Henry's Fork, 8 1/2' 5wt. Superfine is what happens when I've got a nice sized trout on the end of my line. There is something particularly exciting and gratifying to me when my "Fork" is jerking up and down like crazy, bent over like an upside-down "U" absorbing all of the trout's fighting energy and transmitting it fluidly through my arm and shoulder in its own peculiar way. It always makes me want to hoot and holler! How a rod feels with a live fish on the end of it is at least as important to me than how far it can cast a line on a windy day. In that particular, my "Fork" has the edge in "fun factor" compared to my faster action rods. I also appreciate its inconspicuous, understated, and elegant construction. In my opinion, the only drawback is the price tag. Customer Service:
My rod is about seventeen years old and I've never had call to use customer service, but Orvis' excellent reputation for warranty work is legendary. Similar Products Used:
I also fish Sage SP, SPL, and XP rods. I like them all for different reasons.

I have no idea what that other guy is talking about. This is a sweeeeet rod. Technology does not have to be improved when you have a winner. This rod loads all the way into the cork and still chucks a streamer with authority and lays down a size 26 midge without a thought. I use the Henrys Fork and can say that this is one of the finest rods to ever come out. All this hype about technology, modulus, resins, blah blah blah, dont add up to anything if you cant use the tool. This is premium at its finest. Customer Service:

Out dated technology. When a breeze is on the water too soft to be of any use. If want this kind of performance buy a $50 rod from a big manufacturer like shakespeare and save $250 of your money. Customer Service:

This is a great casting rod. It was my first fly rod and I feel it helped me to learn proper technique but also forgave casting errors. It is probably better suited for smaller streams and creeks due to its length. It is a good value as well. Customer Service:
