at Sierrie Trading post Summary: I thought that this was an excellent Rod. I am very new to this sport but I caught my first fish on this Rod and have become addicted ever since. I started on a really cheep Rod package that was gifted to me and bought this Rod because I wanted a 4-piece. This rod felt way better then the one I started with Customer Service: Excellent. The Rod snapped after only one month and they are sending me a replacement. The replacement is a better Rod Graphite Reel seat vs the wood is an upgrade to me.

at eBay Summary: Have the 8'6" 2-pc. Beautiful workmanship, classy appointments. Rod is definitely a "sleeper"... value way beyond what I paid for it. If you like the Winston IM6 or Sage LL, you would love the Powell SSL. Plenty of power, very controllable, but the best part is it is so silky smooth. Customer Service: Haven't needed it for this rod but they were very helpful answering questions about other Powell rod models. Similar Products Used: Winston, St. Croix, GLoomis, T&T, other Powells, Sage
