Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Sage SP 389-5. THE rod.
Bought it at a silly price which makes the value-rating go wild. THE rod, however, would hold up at any price. Throws a full WF 4 or WF 3 and still fishes like magic on 5-10 yds. Lightweight, extremely well made, beautiful fittings and perfect finish... plus, being a five-piece, you can bring it wherever you want. Like I said, THE rod.

Customer Service:
Probably as good as the rod...

Summary:

The Sage SP 386-3 is a medium action rod. A great rod for medium or short casts, very beautiful. It is one of the lightest rods you can ever find, great for accuracy casts and for delicate presentations, but not for long casts.

Customer Service:

Haven't tryed yet.

Summary:
I really like this rod. The 3 piece is nice for travel.
Many people think that 3 wts shouldn't be used to fight good sized trout, but when you are using 6 and 7x tippet
I persoally feel that I can bring a fish in faster with a 3wt than say a 5 or 6 wt. Lighter rods allow me to put more pressure on a fish without having to worry about light tippet breaking and small hooks bending. This is a great rod to have if you already own a 5 or 6 wt.

Customer Service:
They fix problems
Turn around time a little long

Summary:
Buy it.

Customer Service:
This is one of the things you pay for when you buy a Sage. I snapped in half the butt section on my well-used rod and sent it into Sage. They replaced that section with a new one. I couldn't be happier.
