at River Run Outfitters Summary: I fell in love with this rod after my 1st practice cast. It was really easy to cast. The rod did the work for you. It makes a great casting loop. It wants more line than I can cast. They don't make these rods anymore, so if you can find one, I would recommend that you buy it. You won't be sorry. It's the baby brother to the new XP models. I went with the RPL+ because of the price, and it was a 4 piece. Customer Service: Great from what I hear. I haven't had to use it. Similar Products Used: Orvis Clearwater, Cortland CL

, from Colorado Summary: I fished this rod on the South Platte River in Cheeseman Canyon. (Col.) It can throw a big chunck of lead when needed. I would recommend using a WF 5wt line with it when nymphing with lots of weight. This will be my primary rod on windy days and when heavy nymphing small flies. You can get these rods right now for about three hundred dollars. It is a good deal for this quality product. Similar Products Used: Sage 590 RPL+ 486 RPL+ 590 SP 480 SP St.Croix Legend Ultra 9ft 3wt
