Summary:
It's too bad Scott has discontinued these rods. I love my SES 854/3! It is slow enough to cast delicate #18 dry flies, but will roll cast a #6 wooly bugger with ease. For moderate sized streams/rivers, this is the rod I grab. A great spring creek rod in my opinion. It has a lot of eye appeal.

Customer Service:
Not needed it. Great people to talk to though!

If it's a fly rod, I've probably have casted, owned, fished or wiggled it.

If I could only have one rod for trout it would be this one. Everyone who casts with it, covets it - and everyone who sees it asks to cast with it !

Summary:
For a higher end rod, this rod should be number 1. Handles wind quite handily and has great control whether fishing close up or far out.

Customer Service:
Great
