at westrbranchanglers.c Summary: Excellent all around rod. That is not to say it doesn't excel in some way--it does. It roll casts perfectly, had accuracy beyond anything I could have imagined, and kicks the fly out into wind deeply without losing any of the delicate presentation. I am a big fan of Scott rods, and this is by far the best rod they have ever produced. Customer Service: The best--or that's what I've heard. Similar Products Used: SAS, G, Sage XP, Redington, Diamondback, Thomas and Thomas, GLX.

$400.00 Summary: (9/5wt/3pc)This rod wants to catch big fish... yet has enough feel in the action for catching trout in
the 10-12 inch range also. I started fishing bigger rivers the past 2 seasons (Madison, Big Hole R., MT
, Delaware R., NY) & this is where this rod shines. It's the perfect blend of power for casting distances,
tip sensitivity for nymphing, moderate/fast flex & action for protecting light tippets. I don't consider myself
a great flyfisherman, and I thought I might've gotten myself "too much" rod when I first started using it. But,
after landing several 18"+ trout and an unexpected 7lb shad.. I'm totally happy I got this rod. Customer Service: Took a bad spill & damaged the nickel silver real seat.
Scott folks installed entirely new reel seat and had it back to
me in 10 days. There''s a 20$ charge with any repairs. Similar Products Used: loomis GL3, sage SP

$500.00 Summary: Get it! I have an SP & there is NO comparison b/w the 2. Scott has much more "feel" than the SP, but doesn't compromise distance casting w/ Nymphs, streamers, etc. Customer Service: Haven't had to use it Similar Products Used: Sage SP/XP Scott STS G Loomis GL3
