Summary:
All the rod you nedd for 99% of your Tarpon fishing needs. Wy trow a heavy 12# when this light beauty will throw in a 15 knot head wind and stop a 130# tarpon from a smoking run. Great job Gary on these rods. I always take pride in handing my customers one of these to throw.

Strengths:
A hoss of a rod. Great backbone and cstability. Can turn a tarpon on a dime

Weaknesses:
A little slower than the new generation rods, but allows an easy transition to freshwater anglers going after their first large fish. No real weaknesses here.

Customer Service:
GREAT!

Summary:
A great value. This rods did yeoman's work for me on King Salmon in Alaska. Don't need to spend $5-600 for a good product. Instead, I have two GL3 megas (8/9 and 10/11) which meets a variety of needs for the price of one high-end rod.

Strengths:
Relatively inexpensive. Easy casting. Not too fast

Weaknesses:
Not as good into wind as faster rods.

Summary:
Good tool for the money. Plenty of fighting power casts good, and will take some abuse. A bit heavier than the other Loomis rods.

Strengths:
Great fishing tool, will take alot of punishment. I use these as my rental rods for inshore(roosterfish)and light offshore fishing (Dorado). Quality rod at a reasonable price.

Weaknesses:
It casts a line beautifully, but the tips not as stiff as the new generation fly rods.

Customer Service:
Good service
