at Compleat Angler Body of Water: Broken Bay Favorite City: Sydney Favorite State: N.S.W. Favorite Country: Australia Summary: One of the best heavy saltwater rods I've owned. Highly recommended Strengths: Incredible lifting power in the butt section of the rod. Quite easy to load once you get the right line. Fantastic cork, the quality of the overall buildup is the best I've ever seen. Weaknesses: The only weakness would be the fact that you realy have to go up at least one ( maybe two ) line sizes before the rod will load properly, but once you get it right, it shoots like a rocket. I use an 11# Scientific Angler Tarpon Taper. Customer Service: I found the customer service to be very good, ( broke my 6# XTR on a hammerhead shark and had a new one in my hand in about 5 - 6 weeks, not bad considering I'm in Australia). Similar Products Used: Sage RPLXi 1090-3 Powell AXS 1090-3
