Body of Water:
susquahanna river

Favorite City:
Delta

Favorite State:
PA

Summary:
Overall a great low budget rod with an unconditional guarantee.

Strengths:
Overall several features on this rod really standout. The four piece design, the price, and the fighting an lifting power. I believe because of its size it can throw 2 lines up its weight with relative ease. Ihave used this rod in the bay, the atlantic ocean and on swift rivers in pursuit of stripers. Also, field tested it in the northwest for chinook salmon and easily landed a 15 lb foul hooked hen.

Weaknesses:
Heavy Rod, not light like the Loomis GL3 mega version, difficult line control

GL3 Loomis

Summary:
Great rod, but plan to spend some time practicing trying to get distance and presentation just right. You need to learn this rod.

Strengths:
I have the 8-9wt and it's a great feeling rod. Stands up really well to salt too.

Weaknesses:
I have yet to figure this rod out. Sometimes I just can turn over a fly right with it like I should be able to. Takes alot of line to load right.

Customer Service:
Lifetime warrenty... Haven't used it yet.

Summary:
I tested alot of different rods and this surpassed everything else. Loads easy and has a good strong butt section. I've fought fish to 30 pounds in the surf and it answered the call.

Strengths:
Great rod for the money. Throws a line as well or better than much more expensive rods

Weaknesses:
Wish it had a hook keeper.

Customer Service:
Unconditional no questions asked garantee
