50+ days a year Body of Water: Danish inshore -- Favorite Country: Denmark Summary: I have not yet tried a 8 weigth rod as good as the STS saltwater model. Strengths: Very fast action, perfect for "bad flyfishing weather". Strong butsection. Great and reliable ferule system. Heavy build. My only rod when travelling, handles every fish less than 20 pound (biggest so far!). Weaknesses: Non Customer Service: The tip section broke in a door. Via the guarantee I received a new one that fitted perfectly. Similar Products Used: Thomas&Thomas, Sage RPLI, Scott G,

40 days a year Body of Water: Lake Fork -- Favorite City: Quitman Favorite State: Texas Favorite Country: USA Summary: This rod has been fished in large lakes and on the Florida and Texas coast lines with no trouble at all. The salt water has had no effect on the rod. The metal components are just as clean as they where when new. Strengths: Extremely strong rod and very fast action. Will throw a giant bass bug or a heavy salt water fly without wearing you out. The oversize stripping guide is a real plus. Weaknesses: None Customer Service: CS was great for me. I broke the rod tip & had to send it back for repairs. They sent me a loaner till they could fix mine & return it. Similar Products Used: Sage, St. Croix
