Reviewed by: Richard Gee ,  30 days a year , from Perth Western Australia

Price Paid:  $760.00 at Crackle for Tackle P

Body of Water:
Exmouth, Swan River, Rottnest Island

Favorite City:
Perth

Favorite State:
Western Australia

Favorite Country:
Australia

Summary:
This was a spur of the moment purchase. I had always wanted to cast a Scott rod and I had read a great deal about them, surprisingly they seem very difficult to get hold of in Australia. I have a number of other saltwater rods, most custom rods RPLXi blanks, this rod is brilliant, very stiff, which I like, fast action. The ferrule arrangement and fit is really positive, reel seat and cork handle are a good shape a good quality.

Strengths:
Power, gaurantee, ferrule connection, quality of handle and reel seat.

Weaknesses:
Takes some getting used to when casting, I have to be careful not to punch the back and forward cast too hard as it can lead to waves in the line, in addition I find I have to add a small soft release after each "speed up and stop". Only other ting I can possibly thin of would be the inclusion of single foot guides.

Customer Service:
