at Old Village Flyshop Body of Water: Atlantic Ocean Favorite Country: Bahamas Summary: The nicest 7 wt. rod I've ever cast. Perfect bonefish rod. It would also do fine for breaking albies- pinpoint fast casts. I've used it on stripers, but it's so pretty, I'm leary to bust it up with lead eyed flies. Who ever thought you'd spend this much for a rod, but casting is believing. Strengths: Light in the hand. Very fast, yet somehow it doesn't feel like it's all in tip. Carries tremendous amount of line in the air. Tracks straight as an arrow. I've been able to fish in wind that normally requires an 8 or even 9. Lovely finish. Weaknesses: A little awkward to open up the loop when casting weighted lines. Customer Service: I haven't needed to use them yet.
