Price Paid:  $435.00 at toutle fly shop

Summary:
I have the 7136-4 and its great. I try to hit the Ronde/snake every year, and it always does well. It's my first spey, and coupled with the rio windcutter, it works well.

Strengths:
Casts nice. Fights well.

EXCELLENT SMALL WATER STEELHEAD ROD. FISH TO 12-15# WITHOUT PROBLEM. BEST USED WITH FULL FLOATING (OR WT FORWARD LINE SIZED UP ONE).

Body of Water:
cattaragus creek

Favorite City:
silver creek

Favorite State:
ny

Favorite Country:
us

Summary:
Excellent rod for the smaller fish and waters of the great lakes steelhead fishery, could be a little faster in tip section to lift sink tips and straighten out a sinking leader, works great with the SA 8wt spey line, and with smaller flies. Great rod for 1st time steelheader, very forgiving of mistakes fighting fish, can handle dead drifting small nymphs and eggs well, easy line control for beginners.

Strengths:
Good light weight shorter two handed rod for smaller
(<12lbs) fish

Weaknesses:
Could have a little more power in tip section to lift sinking leaders and cast rabbit strip flies

Customer Service:
haven't needed any

Body of Water:
Umpqua River --

Favorite City:
Glide

Favorite State:
Oregon

Favorite Country:
 Usa

Summary:
For the proper purpose the 7136-4 is great. I would prefer that it was a little faster, a little crisper and snappier in the action department.

Strengths:
One of the lightest practical two-fisters available. Great with dry lines and smaller flies. One of the only rods that is appropriate for many of the summer-run steelhead rivers that have smaller fish, like the Yuba or the Rogue.

Weaknesses:
It's kinda like the 2 weight of two-handers. It's not as forgiving to cast as some of the bigger rods.

Customer Service:
Unconditional Lifetime Warranty. Enough Said.
