, from Seattle, WA USA Summary: I bought my first pair of these about five years ago. The first pair did not have a neoprene boot (like they do now) and I blew the foot seam out after two seasons. The replacement pair (with the neoprene boot) has been leak free for three seasons now. I am hard on gear, and the fact that are still servicable speaks volumes. I would like to try some breathables, but generally if it is so hot that I need my waders to breath, I will just wade wet. For the price, you could buy five pairs of them to one pair of breathables, and as I mentioned - they are very tough. I have not noticed enough of problem with excessive moisture to warrant breathables (however, a lack of need has not stopped me from filling my closets with other items of fishing gear I don't "need" so I won't hold my breath).
Overall, I highly recommend them. Strengths: Lightweight, very packable, durable, inexpensive.
Weaknesses: They don't breath (however, they are light enough where it isn't too much of a problem). Customer Service: Cabelas is typically pretty good. Similar Products Used: Neoprene, Sealdri.
