Description The amazing performance properties of Cabela’s Dry Plus material allows for a complete waterproof barrier, yet the micro-porous construction promotes breathability – even under water. Triple-knee cons...
Summary: Bought a pair of Dry Plus waders in February 2004 its May now used them 7 maybe 8 times they leak. Fished with a friend who bought a pair a year ago I watched him ring out his socks all day. They should call them Wet Plus. I am very disapointed with these waders.
Strengths: Comfort until they leak.
Weaknesses: They leak!
Customer Service: Dealing with them now they seem okay.

Summary: Good price, normally like Cabellas stuff, they worked well for first 20 trips then started to leak on inside of the waders on legs where they rubbed together when you walk. The dry plus wore off.
Strengths: price, the shoulder straps are nice also
Weaknesses: leak, after heavy use
Customer Service: good, i got a partial refund

Summary: After just returning the 5th pair to Cabelas, I decided to get a refund. The first 4 pairs leaked, this one the material began delaminating just behind the knees after 4 months of fishing - that's about 25 trips to the river for me. I just don't think Cabelas has the vendors to produce a legitimately competitive product, and anyone serious about their fishing might be well-advised to look elsewhere - although Cabelas is a good source for a lot of other necessities for the sport.
Strengths: I liked the fit, and the shoulder straps were excellent (made of neoprene) as long as you can ignore the leaks!
Weaknesses: Leaks, poor construction especially the gravel guards, which were the newer version, stitch-reinforced but still began to tear after about 10 outings....and I'm careful about my stuff.
Customer Service: On balance, good....although I didn''t like being charged for an additional pair while the first was being replaced. They did credit my card once they had received the leaky pair, but after all that
Similar Products Used: None. This was my first go-round with breathables.

Summary: I purchased a pair of the Premium Dry Plus waders. Shortly after I received them , a trip up to the Cumberland River resulted in torn gravel guards on both legs. The stitching of the cordura catch strap to the gravel guard causes a significant weak spot. Even the gentlest tug will rip the gravel guard at this location. Other than that, these have been great waders for me so far (one season).
Strengths: Cabela's customer service. I sent the damaged pair back and they were quickly replaced. However, the new ones are tearing at the same place, even though I take special precautions to not pull on the catch strap. I have had no trouble to this date with any leaks.
Weaknesses: Gravel guard catch straps, as indicated above.
Customer Service: You can take Cabela''s customer service to the bank! If all companies had this type of customer service, the world would be a better place!
