Reviewed by: Darren Swales ,  50+ days a year , from Columbus, GA

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Not recommended...maybe I am just unlucky.
These are my second pair. The first were a warranty replacement. Know the second pair have sprung a "seep" on the leg seam...these are out of warranty & no amount of "Aquaseal" has helped...

I am stumping up the cash for some Orvis ProGuides!!

Strengths:
Light, airy & good price

Weaknesses:
Leak...not good for waders!!

Price Paid:  $119.00 at Gart Brothers

Body of Water:
Weber and Green Rivers

Favorite State:
Utah

Favorite Country:
USA

Summary:
I loved the wader, and used them excessively in winter and summer. They held up well for being as light as they were. I just don't know why they leaked so quick in the seams. For the price though, what can you expect? I fish almost 3 to 4 times a week summer and winter, so they get used a lot. I don't know if the company expected them to get this much use in a season? But I would expect them to last at least one year?

Strengths:
Light Weight comfortable

Weaknesses:
Leak in the seams alot? This is the second pair I have used and they both have leaked in the crotch and lower legs.

Customer Service:
Customer service given by Gart Brothers was very good! They didn't argue a bit about replacing the defective pair.

Price Paid:  $129.00 at Gander Mountain

Body of Water:
Ancient Chinese Secret

Summary:
I've logged over 50+ days in these waders in one season. The crotch seam started leaking after that. More than likely manufacturer defect, but who knows. Throughout all my brush and briar busting these things have not had pinhole leak one or a tare. They are great waders and I would recommentd them for price and durability. I will probably go out and buy a new pair of these things and have my old ones on reserve. I'm not one to quivel over a leaking seam after the hell I've put these things through.

Strengths:
High durability, low weight, small price, packable.

Weaknesses:
Leaking Seams. Repair not easy in crotch area.

Customer Service:
E-mailed customer service, was told that I would need to send my leaky waders in for inspection of possible manufacturers defect and would take 4-6 weeks. Good communication but, I'd rather repair them.

Price Paid:  $139.00

Body of Water:
Chattooga River

Summary:
A great pair of waders and a value. I was originally going to buy Simms lightweights at $215, but even my
flyshop owner talked me out of them in favor of the Hodgemans. I can't say enough good things about them.
I've crawled on my knees, busted trail through briars,
and never so much as a leak.

Strengths:
Quite a value. Very comfortable and well made.

Weaknesses:
None detected

Reviewed by: Karl ,  40 days a year , from Alpine, Utah, USA

Summary:
Very good product for the price! Watch the sales too for an even better price. Excellent value for the money.

Strengths:
Quality of matierial is excellent. I have snagged my waders several times on rocks and branches and only one tear. I like to fish where noone else will dare go because of the the terrain. Seams are flat and even.

Weaknesses:
When purchasing you need to try them on. For some reason a large in one bos may be slightly different thn another large size-wise. How ever I am VERY picky when it comes to this.
