Reviewed by: KH ,  30 days a year

Price Paid:  $179.00 at Galyans

Body of Water:
Arkansas River

Favorite State:
CO

Summary:
After a couple leaky pairs of The Hodgman Wadelites, I upgraded to the Wadelite II. These leak also.

Strengths:
Cost, built in gravel guards.

Weaknesses:
Leak in the crotch. The layering in the knees lets a large pocket of water collect at each knee- a very unsafe condition. Water then can't drain out of the small bottom slits, even when standing on dry ground.

Customer Service:
Galyans has had good customer service.

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Terrible. Leaked first few hours I got them into the water. They seemed fine standing anywhere knee deep or less, but step in a little further and the compression leaks will ensure that your shorts/pants get soaked in unfortunate places.

Strengths:
not bad if you plan on wading only up to your knees.

Weaknesses:
Don't breathe well. I sweat alot so mine stink up my whole car. Nothing gets rid of the smell in these waders! Leak alot too. Do yourself a favor and invest in a little more. You fish to enjoy yourself, so why do you want to skimp on a product that can determine whether you are simply having fun or whether you are really having the time of your life!

Price Paid:  $199.00 at Internet

Summary:
I have had Hodg products in the past that have treated me well, so I jumped in and bought a new pair of waders. They are relatively inexpensive for the quality you get. They are nice and thick and breathe well. The only complaint I have is that they developed compression leaks in several spots in the neoprene booties after about 15-20 uses. Other than that they kept me dry and comforatable

Strengths:
Thick, breathable, on par with other expensive pro guide weight waders. Great customer service.

Weaknesses:
Compression leaks in the neoprene feet.

Customer Service:
In one word, fantastic. I sent my waders back to Hodgman for inspection for the compression leaks, and received a replacement pair 2 weeks later with no hassels. Hodgman accomplished this during the

Reviewed by: Anonymous User ,  50+ days a year , from buffalo ny

Price Paid:  $188.00 at galyans

Summary:
price,price,price- spend the money on both simms and hodgman fish them both then tell yourself!
nothing will compare for overall value!!!

Strengths:
tear resistant from prickers, rocks, thorns, sticks and any thing else mother nature has. i walk many miles of river fishing steelhead from august (70 to 90 degrees) thru january-february (15 to 30 degrees). these waders will keep you warm if you use the right polyester/fleece layering system. ive fished in 70 degree temps from 6am to 6pm with jeans under my waders and not a drip of sweat to be found. (just damp feet)
other strengths:
-they cost way less than simms/orvis/ll bean.
and THEY BREATHE JUST THE SAME!
-they have built in gravel guards with hook for laces.
-they come with a wading belt (works great!) costs 24.99
-they do everything simms will do at 1/3 the price!!!
-they have a big zipper pouch for keys/wallet/etc.
-they have removable suspenders which works great if
you wanna roll them down to your waist. (if you drink a few beers and need to pee!!) think about it!
-they fit perfect if you size the chart.

Weaknesses:
the zip pocket inside should have the zipper on the other side.

Customer Service:
not sure yet!
