Price Paid:
$0.00 Summary: They keep me bone dry. They have a wierd knee guard design. The extra knee fabric has intentional holes in corner and on bottom. Result- I walk around with a quart of water above the boot of each foot. Strengths: Bone dry. Price Weaknesses: Water bags (see above).

$150.00 Body of Water: Westfield River Favorite City: Westfield Favorite State: MA Summary: Light, comfortable, and worked great for almost a year when one sock started to leak. Returned to Orvis for 100% refund. Orvis offered and additional 20% to buy another pair from Orvis, so I took them up on the offer and upgraded to the no-sweat highback waders. These also worked great for 1 1/2 years before they started to seep water at both thighs. Strengths: Comfort Weaknesses: Leak Customer Service: Very Good Similar Products Used: Orvis High-back No Sweat

at Orvis Body of Water: Pere Marquette, Michigan Favorite City: Scottville Favorite State: MI Summary: Hard to beat for the price. Wide comfort range, from balmy summer days to chilly fall steelhead mornings. Strengths: Lightweight, breathable, customer service is top notch. Weaknesses: Sizing. I am 6'2" w/ 36" inseam and 145 lbs., had to get large-tall and still are not long enough.?xD;?xA;Even with this size, I have way too much extra material hanging off them. The gravel guards are kind of cheesy, they don't really do much. Customer Service: Excelent Similar Products Used: Other Orvis and Cabelas waders.

at Orvis Co. Store Body of Water: Rio Grande Favorite State: Colorado Summary: I would definately recommend these waders to friends. I think they are high quality, and come with a great warranty, that I hopefully will never need. I do wish they would offer different size stockings, but really can't fault Orvis for not doing so. Strengths: Lightweight. Cool in the heat. Totally waterproof. Weaknesses: I bought the stockingfoots because I have longer inseam, and none of the bootfoots were long enough. My only complaint is that the neoprene stockings are a little too short for my size 10-1/2 feet. They tended to scrunch up my long toes. Not too much of a problem, but I wish Orvis would offer "size range" stockingfoots. Customer Service: Not needed so far, although the service I recieved at the store was very good. , from U.S.A. Summary: Maybe not the most costly or prestigious brand of waders that one can wear on the stream, but a fine pair of waders none the less. They throw in the frills (gravel guards, wader belt, repair kit) that more costly waders make you buy separately. Strengths: They breathe and are comfortable. Many design tweaks over the years. A warranty that rocks! Weaknesses: Always compared to the far more expensive Simms instead of the more comparable and tougher Orvis Guide weight waders. Customer Service: You know! Knowing that if a leak occurs I won't be at the mercy of a manufacturer who makes me send them back to the factory for repair and then charges me for the repair is worth a lot. Similar Products Used: Swim suits, neoprene's.
