Review Abstract The Patagonia SST comes highly recommended. Comfortable, breathable, yet lightweight is what you will receive in this package. This gear keeps you dry. For hot days you can fold them down into pant length. A good investment if you can afford the cost. |

at Gift Body of Water: N & S Forks, Snake River Summary: I just finished three days of almost living in these waders. The fit is the best I ever had. My first use was in the cold Spring out here in Idaho. Worn with a layering system of light fleece, capilene & Patagonia's expedition weight socks with their wicking undersock, I have never been as comfortable in my drift boat or on the stream. While some others have stated their problems with Deet, I plan not to wipe my Deet affected apendiges on my waders. These are GREAT waders! Strengths: Really comfortable fit, Unique suspender system lets you roll them down in hot weather & of course the Patagonia Quality. Weaknesses: None so far. Customer Service: Haven't used them yet for the waders, but on all my Patagonia products they have been the best. Similar Products Used: Hodgeman, Dan Bailey, Bare

at Charbon's Outfitters Body of Water: Any Summary: These are without a doubt the best and the most comfortable waders I have ever had on. It really is a pleasure to fish in them. And anything that makes my fishing more enjoyable is a good thing. Be sure and try them on for size before buying! They are sized BIG. You have to be 6'8" or 6'10" to wear an XL. All seams and every thing are typical Patagonia quality. The best. The only thing I reserve in giving 5 stars for overall is the DEET issue. Strengths: Harness fastens inside at the waste can pull the top down w/o taking off vest or jacket Lightweight very comfortable you forget you have them on!
Weaknesses: price(had to wait for a closeout) Deet will melt them-- although I understand this has been remedied in the 2001 models Customer Service: Primo! In response to the above problem with DEET,customer service said that it is a patagonia item, and if that happened, they would repair/replace it.

at High Country Flies Body of Water: Snake River Favorite City: Jackson Hole Favorite State: WY Summary: They would be the greatest waders on the planet, if only they didn't melt on contact with DEET. Strengths: Lightweight Fold down chest Good Suspension Gravel Guards Packable Weaknesses: They have a kryptonite and it is called DEET, and unfortunately it is a must in Wyoming. I should have gotten the neoprene feet, because mine are beginning to leak at the feet after about 2000 hrs on the water. Customer Service: Excellent Similar Products Used: None
