at riverwire Body of Water: Watagua River Favorite City: Elizabethton Favorite State: Tennessee Summary: These Waders are very comfortable and mobile. I fish atleast twice a week and sometimes more in the summer time when I am not attending school. So far these waders have kept me warm in the winter and cool in the summer being able to break them down to hip waders really helps. A Great Product Strengths: Keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I like being able to make them hip waders on a hot day keeping me cool and dry. The build in gravel guards help tremendously Great product expessially the waranty! Weaknesses: They say that Deet puts holes in them (a chemical found in bug spray) But I am not about to test it out. No weaknesses observed Customer Service: Have not had to use them yet. Similar Products Used: LL Bean, and Fly Tech

at e-bay Body of Water: all NW lakes and Rivers Favorite City: Seattle Favorite State: Washington Summary: Expensive, but worth it in the long run. The SST seems to be better made than Simms when making an on-the-rack comparison. Strengths: Bullet proof, chest portion unsnaps from suspenders and rolls down in warm weather, neoprene booties comfortable and waterproof. Weaknesses: None noted. Customer Service: Haven't used yet.

Comfort, dependable, reputation for their gear. Weaknesses: Price Customer Service: Not needed yet Similar Products Used: Cabelas Breathables, Hodgemens

$0.00 Summary: Great "poser" product. A wader that can't stand up to DEET? Get serious. For this much money, they should be impervious to just about ANYTHING. In some parts of the country, summer wading and insect repellant go together... Think about a situation where you are out being guided and you are getting hammered by mosquitos - your guide offers DEET but you must decline?
Get the Simms - they won't leak with DEET. GoreTex rules! Strengths: Slimmer fit. Weaknesses: Slimmer fit, and that DEET resistance problem. Similar Products Used: Simms GoreTex
