Description The most durable, best designed, best fitting breathable waders made featuring 5LayerTM laminate from the thigh down, co developed by Simms and W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc. Gore-Tex® Immersion® Tec...
Review Abstract "These waders will last a lifetime." "Comfortable and breathable" owners praise the quality of Simms Guide Model Gore. This product withstands heat well, even during the summer months. One major frustration for reviewers was paying extra for a wade belt and gravel. With the initial cost being expensive, most felt these items should be included.

Summary: True, these waders are some of the most breathable and comfortable waders on the market. However, pair did not preform to the quality and performance excpectations i wished for.
Strengths: Comfortable, Breathable
Weaknesses: Not durable, my pairs crotch seam leaked on the first trip, pin holes are everywhere to be found, and the attachment seam at the right booty has sprung.
Customer Service: Poor, the replaced my waters, after waiting for 9 weeks!

Summary: I'm selling a pair of SIMMS full GORTEX lightweight chest high stocking foot Waders with belt with freestone boots with gravel guards. Again, the boots and the waters aren't one peice they are seperate(much nicer).
I've only used the waders and boots once and they are in perfect like new condition. They even smell brand new. No pinholes or damage!!!! MINT
I paid $220 for waders and $85 for the boots. I'm willing to let the combo go for $205.
The boots are size 11 and waders are large chest high. CAn be rolled down to waist high.

Summary: These waders are all around great. They are as thin and light as a pair of khaki pants, yet they are extremely durable and waterproof. And the warranty speaks for itself, as long as you aren't cutting holes in them, Simms will repair or replace your damaged pair. I think its worth the money if you'll never need a new pair.
Strengths: Breathability. Comfort
Lightweight. Durable
Waterproof. Just plain cool!
Weaknesses: Not having gravel guards is a pain. I don't know about everyone else, but I got a belt with mine.
Customer Service: Great

Summary: These are the best breathable waders bar none! The day I bought mine I slipped on the riverbank and landed on a sharp stick. That fall would have gashed any other wader, but not these. It didn't even leave a mark!
I've used them hard and they've withstood everything I dished out for the last 2 seasons. They are absolutely bomb proof! I'm sure they'll be the last breathables I buy.
If you have the cash buy these waders!
If you don't have the cash buy these waders! Simms' warranty is excellent, and besides, after enduring a few wet feet and going through half a dozen patch kits you'll end up w/ some Guides anyway so you might as well save some dough and get it right the first time.
Strengths: Big time durable!
Weaknesses: Can't find any.
Customer Service: Haven't used them for the waders, but they were GREAT when it came to a boot return

Body of Water: Great Lake Tribs
Summary: After 8 months of use I am less than pleased with the waders. Detected a leak after wearing them about 10x. Repaired 4 pin hole leaks, still not able to find leak in seam. Sent back to Simms they were returned repaired with an additional 16 pin holes and seam patched. Amazing! You would think I was crawling through barb wire with them.
Strengths: Great breathability.
Weaknesses: Price. Overall reliability sucks.
Customer Service: Great to work with on returning and repairing waders.
