Reviewed by: jomo ,  50+ days a year

Price Paid:  $340.00

Body of Water:
Scottish highlands

Summary:
Dont believe all the hype.
These waders have lasted 50 fishing days and have sprung leaks on both legs on the inside seam just above the neoprene boot.

Strengths:
Initially they looked well made.

Weaknesses:
Way over priced.

Customer Service:
Poor. I tried to get a quote for repair as they are more than 1 year old. It took 4 emails after being refered to Simms Europe only to be told they have no repair facility. 2 Emails were ignored.

Price Paid:  $299.00 at riverwire

Summary:
I was leary of spending this much for a pair of waders, but now
i'm glad i did.Yes they are heavier than most waist highs, but i only
wear waders oct.-may anyway and wet wade after that. They are
much better than the hodgman and redingtons i had that leaked.
If you're not sure because of the price,go ahead and bite the bullet
and purchase these waders, you will not be sorry...

Strengths:
Five layer construction, true goretex brand material used.
Fine company to deal with and built here in USA instead of
overseas like other lesser brands, yes orvis included...

Weaknesses:
Wish they had built in gravelguards.

Price Paid:  $359.00 at happyangler.com

Body of Water:
Arkansas River

Favorite State:
Colorado

Favorite Country:
USA

Summary:
These waders will give many years of tough service.

Strengths:
Knee protection, contoured neoprene bootie, elastic waist; thickness of material; Simms quality.

Weaknesses:
Way too heavy for my personal taste.

Customer Service:
Excellent. I bought size large and had the booties replaced with a size 7-8 at the Simms factory. Quality workmanship and fast turnaround.
BTW, these waders are for sale @ $225, worn once, as new condition, free USA shipping.

Summary:
Don't even think about any other wader.

Strengths:
durability, breathability, weight, comfort...800 plus water days on first pair-no leaks...none, traded first pair in for identical model...I'm in em for about 14 hours per day, 200 days per year

Weaknesses:
neoprene feet... for this quality of wader there is no reason not to have a durable foot... the aquaseal came out for one heel after only ten or twelve trips

Customer Service:
a human being answers the telephone, I didn't think that was legal anymore. You talk to humans, andd they take care of what you need quickly. It's actually customer service, imagine that

Reviewed by: Anonymous User ,  40 days a year , from Dallas

Price Paid:  $300.00 at westbank

Summary:
If you do raft trips, shallow water, small creek fishing this is a perfect wader/look no further. I don't like chest highs, because I am always turning them down/getting hot. With this wader, I have all the comfort, utility and range that I need for 85% of my fishing needs.

Strengths:
Like the chest highs, this is one perfect wader. I use it almost exclusively when fishing...unless I know I am going to a deep river. It is comfortable for both spring and fall fishing, and even better for summer fishing. I have had a very positive experience with the waders in small creek, thorns, bush environment.

Weaknesses:
If you do go deep/above waist, have a bathing suit under the wader, because you will get wet.

Customer Service:
