at Scarlet Ibis Fly Shop, OR Summary: Won't buy another Simms product as long as i live. Strengths: They're on in seconds! Feet are toasty warm when winter steelheading. When you get a pair that doesn't leak, they are dry as a bone. Look good too! Weaknesses: Leaked the first time I wore them. Water trickled in where the waders are welded to the boot. I was very disappointed. These things are advertised as "hydrostaticaly tested" - I don't think so. Also, not enough give in the knee area when crouching.
$500!!!!!!!! give me a break. Customer Service: Terrible!
At first they claimed they didn't honor their warranty for product bought over the internet. I had to beg them to look up Scarlet Ibis Flyshop to verify they are an authorized Simms Dealer! Similar Products Used: Patagonia

50+ days a year Summary: I'm very satisfied with simms gore-tex waders, I've been using the stockingfoot waders for some time now and I love them, but I do a lot of winter fishing and I wanted something that kept my feet a little warmer in freezing water. the bootfoots are the answer! A great investment. Strengths: All the strenghts of the guide model stockingfoots, with the added warmth of a bootfoot. Weaknesses: the bootfoot does not provide the same amount of ankle support as regular wading boots, not quite as good for hiking. Customer Service: good Similar Products Used: simms guie model gore-tex stockingfoot, Oris breathables
