Reviewed by: Philip Canard ,  20 days a year , from Sherman

Price Paid:  $106.00 at eBay, factory closeo

Body of Water:
Ozark streams

Favorite State:
Arkansas

Summary:
I bought these for a teenage boy, so I have not personally worn them. Wardell enjoys an excellent reputation. As good as Patagonia and second only to the more expensive Gore-Tex waders. You might want to buy two pair of Wardell rather than one pair of Simms and keep a spare pair on hand.

Strengths:
First rate construction all the way. You can get these for considerably less than Gore-Tex waders. The best material next to Gore-Tex. Wardell workmanship takes a back seat to nobody. Just like Gore-Tex, pinhole repairs are easy and quick, but you should rarely need it if you are careful.

Weaknesses:
Not quite as durable or breathable as Gore-Tex, but second best is good enough at the price I paid.

Customer Service:
You would rarely need it considering the quality, but I have heard that Wardell is very good in this regard.

I own the original Simms Gore-Tex waders, but I only paid $160 on sale for model closeout. No wader is worth $375!!!

Reviewed by: Anonymous User ,  50+ days a year , from Calgary,Ab,Canada

Price Paid:  $200.00 at Fish Tales Fly Shop

Body of Water:
Bow

Favorite City:
Calgary

Favorite State:
AB

Favorite Country:
Canada

Summary:
A great product. I am very had on my waders and demand alot out of them. Springbrooks service has been excellent and they stand by their product. Perhaps second only to Simms Guide Waders in terms of durability... only without the heafty price.

Strengths:
Extremely comfortable, durable, gravel guards and wading belt included.
Belt and Straps are made of tough nylon type material. Therefore, they dont bunch and keep there shape when tightened.
Good protection at knee.

Weaknesses:
None so far. I had my last pair of 5200's for 2 years with only small pinholes due to excessive brush hiking.

Customer Service:
Good warranty.... up to 2 years on boots and 1 year on uppers
