at pete ross' home Summary: I have had this tube for years and just love it.It is signed by pete and is the
12th one made using cordura.At 6'5" and
265lb.s it carries me through the water
than any previous tubes I've had. Customer Service: GOOD NEWS
The WOOD RIVER CO.is alive and well however it is living in England.Pete
sold his patent to Steve Pardon in Nottingham and and is not only selling
the v-boat but,and here is the good news,
he is also selling replacement bladers.
They are a three piece system now but can be adapted easily. He is also handling a
variety of other style replacement bladers
Check him out at spartonfly@dial.pipex.com.
The wood river is aprox. $132 with
shipping.A bit pricy but better than throwing out your tube. Similar Products Used: Bucks bag donut, trout trap and caddis u-boat.

at direct from Wood Riv Summary: Gliderider SE: I believe Wood River Prducts Co. is currently out of business. I feel sorry for all float-tubers who will not be able to have one of these fantastic 'V' Boats. They are rugged and versitile. If you find a used one, in good shape, Buy it! Customer Service: Always excellent.

at martin Summary: The shape of this boat is very good, you don't have any problems kicking against the strong winds we often have here. I really need the extra strong 1000 denier, codura shell. for me it's often difficult to get in/out since there are a lot of slippery pointy rocks along the shore, sometimes I scrape the boat against the rocks especially when you tend to fall/loose balance.enough storage for raingear, flyboxes, reels/spools, drinks, snacks, etc.I can believe people who have tried more float tubes, who say that this one is probably the best, as I think it is Similar Products Used: Donut, gliderider

at Fisherman's Access Summary: Simply awesome. Best tube offered on the market. I would'nt trade my Gliderider SE for anything on the market, including any kickboat/pontoon boat. Worth every single penny. Those on a budget should save a few more bucks and aim towards this boat. Your tubing pleasure will double. Customer Service: Very good. Woodriver as I understand it, is practically a one-man shop, all design and manafacturing taking place in California. My purchase was made through a local tackle shop, with delivery accomplished quite quickly. Similar Products Used: You name it, I've had it: Caddis u-boats, Browning etc.
