Price Paid:  $40.00 at Bob's Wilderness Hou

Summary:
Okuma certainly offers excellent products for value minded consumers - just make sure you understand the limitations.

Strengths:
Durability, replaceable spool.

Weaknesses:
Drag - I had to remove a "clicker" (drag engagement indicator) that impaired the reel's sensitivity. Only after this did I find it acceptable for trout fishing. The finish knicks easily. It's also a little heavy for 3 or 4 wt rods.

Customer Service:
Haven't had to use

Price Paid:  $75.00 at Tulpehocken Creek Ou

Body of Water:
Anywhere with Wild Fish

Summary:
I love this reel. Fish dont care what name is on your gear. The reel is smooth strong and holds line. What else can you ask for?

Strengths:
Silky smooth drag. Holds line. Strong, spool doesn't bend. Unlike the Battenkill that i have. Die Orvis Die. Over priced crap.

Weaknesses:
I have had problems with dirt getting into the spool and causing some scrapping. Its a bit annoying but seldom happens. Maybe once every 5 trips or so. It doesnt take long to clean either. Just pull off the spool and run your fingers through the lip.
