Review Abstract The Ross Gunnison is a “workhorse” reel capable of providing a quality performance in a variety of situations. This “solid,” “lightweight” unit is “dependable” and easily converts from right to left handed retrieval. Retrieval is “smooth,” and the drag is simple to use and start up. The spool shaft does not require lubricant, because it turns with the 4-inch diameter spool. Adding additional tippet to the leader creates "an advantage." The Ross Gunnison is “a great reel for the money.” |
