Summary:
good all around reel. perfect balance for a 4wt. st. croix

Strengths:
45L is a solid trout reel. i bought the reel for my 4wt. st. croix and it is the perfect match. it has a smooth drag, so your light tipets will go unharmed. the drag is also a snap to change from right to left hand retreive.

Weaknesses:
tip of leader slips between reel seat and palming rim.
