Designed to be loaded with ultralight gear for weeklong (or longer) trips, the 3800 cubic inches of internal capacity of this pack is definitely up for the taskand the pack is also great for a comfortable weekend excursion. The Nimbus Meridian's composite Tepex frame easily supports 40 pounds of gear. Granite Gear also gave it a lid that converts to a lumbar pack for day hikes from camp. And it made this pack hydration compatible to keep the H2O ready all day.
