I borrowed this from a friend for a 5-night BP in the Sierras. The first night, one of the carbon fiber poles broke, even though there was no wind and everything was properly staked out. I used a tent repair kit and the tent held up great the rest of the week. The size was perfect and enabled me to have some privacy, unlike my bivy-ing compadres. At under 3 pounds, you can't find a better shelter. Customer Service:
SD replaced the broken tent pole at no charge, and suggested that there may have been a flaw in the pole. Similar Products Used:
