If you are looking for a compass with any type of precision... silva can provide it for you. Granted it isn't the most advanced compass you can find - but if you know how to use it, it will EASILY get you where you need to go. I especially like the 1 degree accuracy, glow in the dark needle, and an easy to read dial. I have two of them... But that is because I broke my first one while taking off the distance wheel...
